Mission
This site is dedicated to Ven. Master Chin Kung as my most sincere gesture of appreciation to what he has shown and taught me (and everyone else) the true meaning of Buddhism.
Over the years, I’ve gained the knowledge and developed a little wisdom of knowing the art of sorting the truth from the false. And I’m grateful for it!. Though I’m still taking my little baby steps to fulfill my vow (and achieve the ultimate goal) of being reborn in the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
While the mission of this site is purely educational, on a personal level, it is simply
- To help spread the Buddha Dharma in English electronically for the benefit of non-Chinese readers; enabling them to better understand the Teachings of Buddha
- To accumulate more merits – and to encourage others to do likewise – in our daily life that reaches a state of ‘no thought’ and to dedicate the merits to the Dharma World
- To perpetuate the Dharma to benefit all sentient beings in all directions
- Ultimately, to develop the inner wisdom and complete faith in being reborn at the end of life and death cycle in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss which lead to the path of enlightenment.
Buddha once spoke
“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”
Dedication of Merits
May the merits and virtues accrued from this work adorn the Buddha’s Pure Land, repay the Four Kindness above and relieve the sufferings of those in the Three Realms below.
May those who see, hear and read this bring forth the Bodhi mind and live the teachings for the rest of this life, then be born together in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.
